2024 Miami Dolphins: Chop, Chop !!

you mean for $3m? It's a smash deal at that price. What am I missing? If he hits the incentives for it to get to the $8m level I am sure no one will complain. If he plays how he did for the ravens last year he will be a big improvement for this offense, and will especially help if one or both...

    WR Odell Beckham, Jr., MIA

Reportedly $3m base with incentives up to $8.25m. Really nothing not to like as a Miami fan. The offense got extremely one dimensional when Reek and/or Waddle were out and OBJ will help especially in those scenario.

    RB Devon Achane, MIA

I see plenty of reasons to be bullish on Achane, but Dallas passing on the guy Miami used a future 3rd on is not one of them. Wright landed in a perfect offense for utilizing his strength and not needing him to do what he's not great at. Both him and Achane are the type of backs who could be...

    RB Devon Achane, MIA

I think Achane was always going to be a 12-14 touch per game type of back, kind of like a supercharged version of Matt Breida under McD. This only impacts Achane's long term value if you thought he was going to get significantly more than that. Miami was taking a Mostert replacement this year or...

2024 Miami Dolphins: Chop, Chop !!

That one didn't surprise me so much. Once they signed Tart, Hand, Jones, Gallimore and Harris along with Seiler they looked pretty set for a 5-6 man rotation for this season (with probably Pili pushing one of those guys for a spot). It's another roster construction that reminds me of what...

    TE Kyle Pitts, ATL

Pitts' 5th year option ($10.4m) was picked up by the falcons. Not a surprise but at least indicates they aren't overly worried about the injuries that hampered him the last 2 seasons.

    RB Jaylen Wright, MIA

Miami spent a (2025) 3rd on this guy, and while I love Achane I don't think they want him getting more than 50% snaps. Wright seems like the long term guy for Mostert's role.

    WR Malik Washington, MIA

Kinda slow for this offense (4.47 40 time :P), but 42.5" vertical should make up for that. Miami has been looking for a wr3 this offseason so this guy may be a Hill/Waddle injury from a lot of opportunity. But there is still a decent chance Miami signs OBJ for a year to block him as a rookie.

    RB Audric Estimé, DEN

I am reminded of Payton finding guys like Chris Ivory and Khiry Robinson as UDFAs and giving them pretty healthy 1st and 2nd down roles. Estime is probably a better version of those guys as a prospect. It will be interesting to see how he gets used.

    WR Xavier Legette, CAR

Man, they... Have a type -GOB, arrested development. It really seems like they take the same type of receiver over and over (Marshall, Viska through trade, Mingo, Now Legette). I know it's a new regime this time but I still find it amusing.

2024 Miami Dolphins: Chop, Chop !!

Chop reminds me of the Ravens taking Oweh a couple years ago, as another freak athlete from PSU with production that didn't match. I don't mind the pick at all. I think if Detroit was offering 73 to move up from 29 like they did for 24 I'd have rather gone that route. I think mostly I was just...

    Travdogg's 3 round mock draft

Those last few posts were one of the best draft content binges I've found while searching today @travdogg. Thanks!

    WR Brandon Aiyuk, SF

I get your point, but Aiyuk is a darn good WR. It's a deep draft but deep with NFL WR2s. I would think any NFL team would rather have Aiyuk over someone like Brian Thomas or Xavier Worthy, which is who we are talking about once you're out of the top 10. The contract will make it impossible for...

    RB Blake Corum, LAR

I am still sticking with this comp from before the season. I don't think it's particularly negative as Singletary has held down a starting job for a few years and looks primed to continue that at least one more year. But the ceiling seems pretty underwhelming IMO.

Should CJ Stroud Be The #1 Ranked QB In Dynasty?

I'm not as worried about age for QBs unless they get a large percentage of points from rushing. So Stroud being 22 vs Burrow being 27 isn't as important to me as having a long track record and being tied to the best/2nd young WR in the game. It's not like anyone is going to care about burrows...

    TE Brock Bowers, LV

You're not wrong. But he is the best of that type we've probably ever seen. He's in the Engram/Reed/Chig archetype but the 100th percentile version of those guys. So he's a decent bet to buck the inconsistent usage trend those guys sometimes see.

    WR Stefon Diggs, HOU

This is an upgrade for Diggs compared to the Joe Brady 60% run offense, but a downgrade from the 3 years prior. I like Dell and Collins a lot but Diggs will still be the alpha there.

CB L'Jarius Snead Traded to the Titans

It seems to me top corners are not getting what they used to either in trade comp or contract. 19 aav and a 3rd seems pretty reasonable in both contract and trade comp for TN.
  19. jtd13

    RB Audric Estimé, DEN

I usually take the player profiler approach where I assume the pro day time is optimistic by .05-.1 seconds. I don't really mind a back of Estime's size running in the 4.65 range, considering he had some very impressive jump numbers for a big back that indicate he probably has the power to get...

    ****OFFICIAL DYNASTY TRADES****

One of my better timed trades... Like 2 weeks before he retired! On the home page there is a time stamp saying when the last post was right under the title (at least on my phone screen, says "3 minutes ago" for this thread). It's still a smaller target but bigger than the navigation arrows...
