Anyone tried the latest batch (A124) of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof? C923 was so good, and I'm seeing mixed reviews of A124 online. I'm sure it's still good, Elijah Craig isn't going to put out a bad batch, but it's definitely younger and lower proof than C923 was...

I have only been using OnlyDrams for about 3 months now, and haven't gotten into the social aspect of it yet. Can you give me a quick rundown of how you use that side of it? Send it in a PM maybe so we don't clog the thread up. Thx
I've been looking for a way to efficiently catalog and sort my bourbon journey for a while now. I was spreadsheeting for a while but I found that I wasn't updating it enough, always forgetting to add new bottles to it, and it got cumbersome so I started looking for apps. Currently I use...
My wife goes for the left door - she's a bit of a germaphobe since we had our daughter who has asthma and seems to catch everything easily. Her reasoning is that most people are right handed and will go for the right door handle, so she goes left to hopefully pick up less germs. It...
As the clock strikes 9:00 -- "Ok folks it looks like not everybody is on the call yet, just going to give it another minute or two to see if anyone else joins before we get started..."
Very true…and we are considering that. I should have mentioned though, it’s going to be 30+ something feet wide outside the garage, so plenty of space for loading/unloading next to the house. And in my case, the driveway will be kind of long, so keeping cost in mind - 16 ft wide x ~200 ft long...
As a kid/teenager I killed an entire row (1/3 of a package) of Double Stuf Oreos on more than one occasion.
Couldn't tell you the last time I had any though, it's probably 10+ years.
We're currently in the designing phase of a new build as well, so I'm secretly piggybacking on @Gally 's thread here. A couple of things we've talked about putting in ours, or things we've been advised on by our designer:
Retractable screens for back porch (mosquitos are terrible here)...
What is the major benefit of this? Is it just to be able to isolate the water to one spot/room of the house instead of having to cut the entire house off in the event of a leak? Toilets and sinks all have their own valves though, so I must be missing something...
Basically yes, I'll crack and try every new bottle within a couple days of purchase. The only unopened bottles I have are backups. I don't have any unicorn type bottles that I'm saving unopened for a special occasion.
44 current bottles
93% (41 out of 44) open
I'm trying to downsize as well, so my rule is no buying a new one until I kill two. I don't have a ton of space available, probably only room for 35-40 bottles, but I had almost 70 at my peak and they were annoying the wife.
In related news, I killed a Starlight and a Larceny BP last night...
People that don't use the oven timer, and then burn whatever is cooking. The timer is right there, use it! My mother in law will throw some tots in the oven for the grandkids on a Saturday, then forget about them or even worse she'll say "I'll smell it when they're ready" and then go in the...
And then three months later he'll bring it up and pretend that he had the opposite take on it this whole time, so he was right all along. It seems his only goal in life is to go out of his way to make sure everyone knows he's the smartest guy in the room.
I sold all my 2024 picks last year to gear up for a title run, and then got smacked in the semi's by the eventual champ and finished 3rd. Going into this rookie draft with no picks, so I decided I'd flip my 2025 1st a player to get my 2024 1st back. The guy I'd given it to has hoarded picks and...
Nicely done! I'm still hunting for a Rio...my local store 2 weeks ago posted on facebook a photo of two bottles of Rio with a "come and get it" type message. This store typically never posts allocated bottles, they just keep them in the back for their regular customers. So the fact that they...
32 teams is plenty, I don't want to see expansion. I'd be ok with mixing up the divisions again, or a team relocating to St. Louis, or San Antonio, or Memphis (I'm thinking of NBA cities without an NFL team...Portland?).
One thing I've always wondered though - Teams in a shared...
I'm in a 12 tm SF but I gotta imagine in a 16 tm league that's a great speculative add for you, provided those 5ths were expendable and not needed for IDP depth.
12 team 1QB 1PPR
Gave 2.09 + 2025 2nd
Got Mike Evans + 2.12
We start 3 WRs plus a flex so this gives me an every week starter (behind Chase & Tyreek). I'm in Year 2 of a contender window so future 2nd I gave should be late, felt like this was a great way to add a veteran cheaply.
In the world of self checkout I'm surprised there's even a cashier there to check the eggs.
Never had one do it to me though, but I always check them myself before putting them in the shopping cart.
