I mean I think reading even pre-draft anyone can be bust (minus Harrison who could be a bust but most agree probably will not be).
Nabers - I can the giants being in a cycle of 2-3 year implosion and it's hard to be great when the team is throwing the ball for 150 yards a game
Williams -...
We are superflex as well...I think, chatting with everyone, that most people think game managers is the best you are going to get out of those 2.
Upside is huge on Coleman, I don't think most in the league feel that way about JJ or Maye
I see both arguments for sure
I lean he is a big rb with a ton of tread on his tires and this is the year he breaks down. He also doesn't catch passes and is in an offense where there are a lot of other mouths to feed
I think Mitchell is going to get a ton of play this year
I just did what i would consider an expert superflex draft (all guys that take this very seriously and have been together for 30 years). McCarthy, Maye and Nix all fell into the 2nd round
Just did my rookie draft and was truly torn between Nix and Maye and ended up going Nix (they both fell to the bottom of the 2nd round). I just like his situation better
I just have this feeling that the offense would be sluggish and deebo would get a nagging injury and his career (as a superstar) would be pretty much done...maybe it's just my past vision of the Pats clouding my judgement
So it's a lazy analysis to say a guy who was never asked to really perform isn't necessarily a given to be a good player in the NFL? I would argue it's an extremely lazy analysis the other way.
Same hype around trey lance who threw 12 passes in college and low and behold he sucks
Not throwing...
Harrison's talent and Murray's ability to create chaos will be a fantasy goldmine i suspect
But you are right the Chi pairing might certainly be great long term
