I like both Warren and Harris. However when evaluating them I don't think a side-by-side comparison of stats tells the whole story. For the most part Harris has a lot more 1st and 2nd down carries than Warren.

This seems to be true for most teams in all sports. There are exceptions of course, even on the Steelers, but the reality in professional sports is that a starter has to be pretty terrible or the backup pretty amazing in order for a change to be made in season.
