A man tells you he has two children. He then starts talking about one of them (child A). He does not tell you whether this child (child A) is the oldest child or the youngest child. What is the probability that his other child (child B) is a girl?Answer this question and you have your answer!
I need similar advice. I took on a mortgage almost 24 months ago; I am currently somewhere in the ballpark of 96-100% LTV. My rate is 6%. Never miss a payment - pretty good but not great credit. Not sure if there's anything I can do or not. My current lender, Chase, basically said they couldn't...
Is it worth looking into or even possible to re-finance if your LTV is 100%? It appears that the decline is housing prices pretty much killed whatever equity we thought we had.
i have heard NOTHING about this guy and i listen to chicago radio all the time. it baffles me since our WR corps is so awful.
cannot be a good sign for him.
Yeah I pretty much agree with you here. Interesting how you can make a good point about protecting a group of people without using it as an excuse to make a direct attack on another group that you dislike.
You're right, he didn't say "do anything". When I initially responded to his statement, I asked if he was referring to them voting on social issues (such as gay marriage). That is what I am referring to.My point was that anyone can vote based on their beliefs; even if everyone else doesn't also...
Yeah, that sounds nice. Unfortunately, under the guise of that bottom line, you are making hypocritical, bigoted statements such as this:
The obvious problem with this statement is that you're saying Christians shouldn't do anything based on a belief that not everyone upholds. Good luck...
Can they? Sure?Must they? No.But, I'm not sure your example shows this anyway. The fact is, you voted on one thing that you value (not amending the state constitution) over another thing that you value less (helping the less fortunate). You believe one to be more valuable, and worth voting...
And I think there's nothing wrong with:1) you believing you should help the less fortunate2) you valuing not amending the state constitution more than your belief that you should help the less fortunate by voting for thisI also wouldn't fault you if you valued helping the less fortunate so much...
Your response is specifically why I asked not to discuss the lone issue of gay marriage, but that I wanted to address your generic statements towards Christians and how they should be voting. I think you have good points about gay marriage, and I do not hold a strict conservative viewpoint about...
I appreciate BFS's words but I do not think "his" response really defends what you said here:
"The church should not take away rights of individuals based on their beliefs that not everyone upholds."Do you hold yourself to the same standard? Are you saying that Christians no one should take away...
really are a handful of good rookie candidates this yr
flacco has done well
ryan has done better
slaton / johnson / forte have all done very well, but i must say i am most impressed with forte. he is a helluva complete back and is producing on a team with crap for offensive weapons.
