Chargers agreed to terms with WR DJ Chark on a one-year contract.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports it’s worth “up to” $5 million. Although Chark is coming off a quiet campaign for the cellar-dwelling Panthers, it is a much-needed addition for the Chargers’ nonexistent receiver depth. Unless...
Unfortunately I see him as a roster clogger right now. I think he’s talented enough but his situation is horrible. He’s (at best) the 5th or 6th receiving option in that offense. Now if a bunch of injuries hit I’d be paying more attention.

Analysis: Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported Thursday that Hurst visited Los Angeles after being released by Carolina on Wednesday. The Chargers' pass-catching corps will look very different in...

Steelers released WR Allen Robinson.
It’s been a forgettable few years for Robinson, who has managed just 105 receptions for 1,029 yards and four touchdowns over his last three seasons. The move saves the Steelers $10 million of cap space, as Allen is now once again...
I’d argue that in Puka’s situation he didn’t need the Kupp injury. He only needed to beat out Van Jefferson. That’s what I meant by opportunity. The Kupp injury just allowed him to explode beyond anything any of us expected. If Kupp stayed healthy I bet Puka would have still overtaken...
As to your last sentence I strong believe it comes down to OPPORTUNITY. As mentioned above, most late round NFL drafted players never get a chance. So when your sitting there in the 3rd through 5th round of your rookie draft look more at situation then at talent.
