I think volume also plays a part here. If over the last 30 Years there where 20 total QBs going #1 and 70% of them made a certain benchmark, that would be 14 QBs that reached that benchmark. If there were 63 players drafted in the other First round spots, then for 70% to reach that same...

JonnyU, Ho how many times in starard leagues did guys like Zach Charbonnet go before Stroud? Why do "Backup" RBs go so early? Why do people reach for every RB that might get playing time? In SF, a little more value is added, maybe in some leagues a little to much. But to me, standard...

Thanks for pointing out the forgtten T. Was the point of this post to point out people you did not draft that busted, or to talk about why poeple take players that bust in SF? You point out QBs that are not top tier that are drafted in SF early, but fail to understand that players are drafted...

I am not saying I think anything should change. I think it is unfortunate for RBs that their lifspan in the NFL is short. I just think that if there was no draft and these guys hiit the opne market at 22-23 instead of 26-27-28, the best ones would be getting paid like the best at positions...
