Iran is political. Similarly, Saudi is not on the list, but should be. I will admit I am not up on the Pakistan conflict, but I don't believe we are heavily involved. There is no reason to think people from that region would be looking to attack the US.

They really need to arrest the protestors. That has no business inside airports. Since most of these protests are in the baggage areas (where outsiders can access), how hard would it be to drop a backpack bomb during all this mayhem? If there are not laws on the books, hopefully they will be...
I believe a President can restrict access to countries. Obama did it with Iraq. Carter did it as well. This is a temporary ban aimed directly at jihadist zones. To argue this is a Muslim ban is a big reach when the top 5 Muslim countries (Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria)...
I am actually good with the stay as it talks more of the quick nature of what Trump did (with no plan to handle those in transit). I don't think the ACLU (or courts) will be able to overturn the EO though.
