    QB J.J. McCarthy, MIN

As painful as this is to say, the kid is a gamer. I have seen some up-and-down moments. He is in a sound system with a good staff he will be fine. It's where you want to try to select him that is the question.

    WR Rashee Rice, KC

There are a couple of things to consider when viewing this through a fantasy lens. The first is the format you are playing in. It becomes a much different narrative from redraft to dynasty—or any keeper format. Contract Keeper leagues will be different from a complete dynasty format. I'm...

2024 Las Vegas Raiders thread - Brock party

It would have been great TV, though.

Post your 2024 dynasty rookie drafts

Those are challenging moves to make. Were you not able to wait until your partner was OTC? I'm sure you have a fallback plan.

    WR Xavier Legette, CAR

People taking Legettie also believe in the head coach, Dave Canales. He ran a good offense in Tampa and worked with DK with the Seahawks. He is a good value in the draft, depending on where he is selected. In my 1 QB .5 ppr league, he went 2.1 with Pearsall and AD Mitchell still on the board...

Post your 2024 dynasty rookie drafts

1 QB .5 ppr for all positions but RB. The running backs get .25 ppr. Start 9 total and start 1-3 RB, WR 2-4, TE 1-3. It is a salary contract league. The 1st round picks must be given 3-4 year contracts. The 2nd round is 2-4, and the 3rd round picks 1-4. The 3rd rounders are also at...

Where should Caleb Williams go in 1 QB leagues?

1 QB .5 ppr salary contract keeper league just wrapped up this morning. 1.11 C. Williams (has T. Law), 1.12 J. Daniels (needed QB only had Fields) did trade for D. Watson later in the draft. Watson has one year left on his contract for a middle-tier price—not cheap but not overly expensive. The...

    QB Michael Penix Jr., ATL

I understand the concept. The execution is my issue—an older player with red-flag injury issues. I also do not like losing the value of a rookie contract for 2 years, but I understand the conceptual basis of the idea.

    WR Xavier Worthy, KC

He went 1.6 in my .5 PPR league. I assume later in SF/ 2QB.

I can see Bowers dropping the later we get into draft season. I'm not sure that is warranted, but I could see that happening. I think managers will be concerned with the quarterback play in Vegas and how the offense will run.

    Cowboys are all in. :)

    RB Chuba Hubbard, CAR

Brooks tore his ACL in November. Chuba will be fine next year.

*** San Francisco 49ers thread *** Rookies and UDFAs impressing at rookie mini camp

I reviewed two game tapes, South Carolina / LSU 2023, and all catches and targets from 2023. I counted at least four. I have not done anything with his 2022, but I have a full-time job, so I typically go through the recent season unless there is a reason to look at 2022. Here are all the catches...

*** San Francisco 49ers thread *** Rookies and UDFAs impressing at rookie mini camp

He seems a better real-world player than a fantasy player. I saw more drops than I expected. The workout numbers were incredible, but the production seemed lacking to me. He landed in a good place, though. He had some wow catches, and his body adjustment is good, but for being as great as he...

    QB Michael Penix Jr., ATL

It can work, and there are some situations we can point to and say similar plans have worked: the Packer plan twice (Farve and Rodgers) (Love and Rogers), The Chiefs plan (Mahomes and Smith), and even the Bengal plan (Palmer and Kitna). Now, none of these are the same, and there are differences...
