    Ran a 10k - Official Thread

I am reaching out for shoe advice. I don't think the on clouds are the only problem, but between my age and increasing waistline I think I need something with more support to get back on the right track. The knee ailment that developed after several others issues I mentioned back in March...

    32-Hour Work Week

My ideals and reality often come into conflict, but rarely more often than on this subject- you get out what you put in. So if you don't put it in (hey-o!!!) then good luck

2023-24 NBA (Playoffs!) Thread: “this team is really good” a terrified Minnesota fan mumbles to himself

I'll be pleasantly surprised if the Celts series is this competitive. Maybe the Cavs steal game 3, but I'm preparing for a sweep and 3 of 4 not competitive. Really just depends on Spida - how much will does he have with...this around him.

Where should Caleb Williams go in 1 QB leagues?

I used Caleb as a tracker for when to trade for Jayden. Trades happen, but assess who has QB needs in mid rd 1. If you can position yourself behind them, great, but regardless need to be ready with offers whenever he goes. I figured he'd go 8 in one league (he did), but I also know those...

Borrowing From Your Future Self - a vicious dynasty cycle

Objective is to add at least one (preferably more) picks during the season. That way you can both add talent and kick the can annually. I started last season with an extra 2 in 24 and 25. Then I traded Baker and added another 2 in 24. I used both of them and my own, but I traded 1.11 for a #1 in...

    2024 IDP Rookies

    Net one Colson share (pick 18), two Payton Wilson's (23 and 24), and one Cedric Gray (he fell to 51!) via trade up. Below are the draft spots (cut off at top 40) in my three leagues. Colson - 18 / 19 / 22 Cooper - 23 / 12 / 18 Wilson - 24 / 23 / 17 Wallace - 38 / 28 Gray - 39 / 33 Turner - 28...

Borrowing From Your Future Self - a vicious dynasty cycle

I've not taken it to this extreme, and probably won't, but this is one of the strategies that has worked well in yr 4 of a SF TE premium big play IDP dyno. I focused on early-mid career types in the inaugural draft, plug holes with 4+ round picks during the season, only trade away for a top 3...

I agree that Donovan Mitchell is awesome. I have no further comment at this time :<_<::banned:

How often do you have a "tough day"?

Most of my days were incredibly tough between summer 21 and summer 23. I took a job that I knew would be stressful in hopes that it would lead to something better. It did, so once things stabilized at the new job the number of 'tough days' drastically reduced. Looking forward to the day I'm...

    2024 IDP Rookies

Holcomb's easily expendable at season's end - $6m cap savings and only ~$1.6m dead. If Wilson shows his body of capable of handling a full work load in 2024 then he'll be a 100%er in 2025. He's the total package and I hate that he's a Steeler.

    2024 IDP Rookies

Really? I'm looking at one of Colson, Cooper, and Wilson in the 2nd. Pretty much regardless of format. Beyond that is certainly more volatile, but I think all 3 of them are slam dunk starters in 2025 with varying degrees of comfort behind them.

How often do you have a "tough day"?

I strategically block off my calendar to prevent this from happening. The second I have a tough meeting on the calendar, I'm not available the rest of the day. Emergencies happen as do problematic meetings on already busy days, but this approach significantly minimize the volume.
