eh - the lawsuit thing is not shocking. Preservation is common and casts a wide net.
the photographer story seems overblown
I just cant shake that Deshaun Watson got less than a season with all that craziness - I still think he'll pay them off civilly, get probation as its a slap on the...
cut down a decent amount since I saw this thread - was doing a few bourbons every night but now down to around 3 days per week which is still a lot but progress. i usually take an edible or a toke or 2 on the off nights but hey im not perfect! also much easier to lose weight drinking less...
Now that the offseason is mostly done - I took a look at the needs and moves:
Needs: As Woody said: offense, offense offense! positions: development QB, at least 3 decent starters on the OL, backup RB/short ydg back, WR (#2/3), resign ST (K/P), DL Huff, safety depth
players lost: Huff...
agreed - really like Travis - very nice development qb
2 RBs? Izzy must be on the outs - though I think the 2d RB looks like a ST project - Canadian CB who never went to college? ill be rooting for him
overall pleased with the offseason/draft - will do a deeper dive next week
I didnt think anyone could be mor cringy than Woody in those calls but Hackett gave it a run
Not a fan of the trade down - then trading another 4th for a 3rd next yr from Detroit is meh as it will be late. The Rb they took looks like a beast....may take some short yardage/GL carries from...
rough for Mayer - I can see Bowers being the catching TE and Mayer being kept in more. No good way to spin it. Im holding to see what happens but not optimistic
Not sexy but the right move. OL is old and injury prone. Cant risk having a mess again. Pretty confident he'll play this year and likely a lot. This leaves the OL with a future core of Olu, AVT and Tippman. Cant have enough OL IMO after the last few yrs. Id stil sign another body!
Great...
guy vaulted up to #2 over a pro day throw!
silver lining is all the other 1st rd QBs except Trevor are awful as well. Once they won that meaningless game the die was cast!
Best return we could hope for based on the mkt for other QBs traded. At least hes gone and wont be a distraction. Not an awful dice roll by Denver and ZW has a legit offensive coach. Win/Win.
Officially closes the book on the worst draft pick in team history - and theres been a ton
its a slippery slope - im a nets fan and Kyrie was acting similar to Rodgers. They booted him and now are stuck in NBA irrelevance while Kyrie leads another team to the playoffs. Where is the line? With most teams employing a player or two who have criminal incidents much worse than Rodgers...
sounds like you know more than me as to him then - Im merely speculating. Regardless for a likely 3rd in 2026 I think its a good deal for the Jets. Both teams for their own reasons like the players they recd more than they gave up. At the very least both teams recd very good players so its...
again speculating but first of all its clear hes not going to get a contract with Philly so at least he has a chance of getting a payday with the Jets. 2d he will be playing next to a beast in Q which should open him up to a monster season. lastly - he was traded so not sure he had much of a...
my take is Saleh believes Huff is a product of the system and Reddick is a much better player. Also Huff never bought into Saleh's rotation and complained about wanting full time snaps. I think Reddick isnt as concerned about it. I also doubt the Jets give him a $25M contract - this is a one...
