Early projection for LAC to get 3 6th round picks next year for losing Everett, Ekeler and Murray.
I wondered the same thing, but with the run on WR that was going on I think they viewed it as a big drop off after McConkey. Here is the write up from Mcginn's piece. I don't like reading the injury concerns. It's like deja vu from the Telesco era. He has him 9th. Harmon seems to be a fan of...
Yeah this is a good question. As an owner of 6th pick in SF and a Maye non-believer I like my options better now. Couldn't have gone to a better place for him. Now if they can just extend Jefferson...
Using Lance who had about 300 pass attempts at a small school as an example seems a bit off. Not even close with McCarthy having more than twice as much with every game in a national spotlight.
Maybe on a macro level he didn't have to carry the team, but he did it constantly on 3rd down and...
I have not seen anything from Dallas' offseason to suggest that they're selling out for this year. If I've read correctly they opted to take a hit on Dak's contract this year instead of spreading it out. If anything that implies more of a longterm view than a focus on this year.
I am definitely hoping that they have a trade back partner as well. I hope the QB hype is real. I fear it is not though.
My guess is that AZ is locked in on MHJ. If they can trade back and somehow get Odunze I would love it. When Herbert misses it seems like it's usually high, so size is...
I am no cap guru that's for sure. I was only using overthecap. They showed 2024 cash payout and savings as both 23.1.
I hope he has another great year. He battled through it last year, and earned that money. I just don't think the new regime is thinking about that. Sad. I don't like it...
I can't help but think that age did play a role though. Allen is going to be 32 this year and he'll be paid almost top 10 money this year. How many 32 year olds have produced well enough to warrant that kind of money? The odds aren't good. He played great last year. But he had to tough it...
Maybe he felt slighted by the fact that his high school didn't name their stadium after him until 2020. Granted he hadn't won an NFL game yet...but the nerve of them for waiting so long.
It was not pretty in any shape or form. The positive I take away is that there have been a lot of teams that laid clunkers and bounce back. Hopefully the Chargers can do it too.
One thing I seemed to notice is that the Ravens seemed to be daring Herbert to go deep, and he just couldn't connect...
Sorry, kind of late in responding.
I am very happy with the team(the post you pulled said as much), but I was (and still am)skeptical that their success can be sustained this year. I do agree that with Herbert the team does have a bright future. I actually have not been very critical about the...
You non Chargers fans obviously don't know what Post Traumatic Football Disorder is or you wouldn't be mocking us 😉.
Actually I told myself I would feel better if they won on Sunday, but of course I feel the same scepticism. I can't help it!
They really had no business winning that game. ...
It will be interesting to see if Sermon is more effective with Lance starting this week. I seem to recall reading that RPO plays were one of Sermon's strengths coming out, but I can't seem to find anything on it now.
