Slippery slope arguments are really just empirical arguments. It's impossible for an empirical claim to be fallacious. It might be wrong, but it will be wrong for empirical reasons, not first-principals-of-logic reasons.

No opinion on scouting, but we've been removing opportunities for boys for decades now, and I know folks are seeing the results because it comes up in other threads.
I agree, but semis are uniquely bad imo because of the slowness and lack of acceleration. We don't have trucks where I live, but they're horrible in corridors that we often drive though, like KC to STL. Pickups are a little silly, admittedly.
