I don't think it's a bad idea to scoop up Michael at all, but after drafting him back to back years as my "supa sleepa" I simply can't roster the guy. I'm gonna assume Seattle knows what they're doing and hope Run DMC can stay healthy and grab the reigns in Dallas.
I don't disagree -- the only thing more annoying is the righteous indignation of the Pats fanbase.
I'm just saying I think Brady plays well in situations like this, and Belichick doesn't take his foot off the gas when he wants to prove a point.
Packers over Patriots
I also see Eagles and Ravens as possible entries if I'm going out on more of a limb.
Colts need to not get their asses kicked by the Pats before I can consider them.
I can't imagine a scenario where the Pats don't score a lot of points. They're gonna be fired up and pissed off and Brady has always played well against the Steelers.
Pats 34, Steelers 21
Yes. There were some concerns the year he was coming back from the ACL tear on the Bucs (who didn't use him correctly) but was great last year for the Pats and I expect he'll continue to do well for the Jets.
Like the OP noted, his best strength has never been pure athleticism to I don't expect...
Am I crazy to start Houston against the Eagles? Eagles obviously have a good offense and don't allow a ton of defensive fantasy points but they haven't faced many decent defenses on the road. I don't really have any other options except SD @ MIA which makes me nervous since Miami is playing...
Just picked him up -- cut Marques Colston for him.
Need to decide whether to start him this week... Could be over VJax or Chris Ivory at the flex.
I like his fantasy prospects going forward this season.
I think they know he's better than Fleener. The issue is that they want to run a lot of dual TE sets because they're adamant about running the ball well.
He's pretty much always wrong but as others have pointed out the real issue is that he's a stuttering Stanley who sounds awful/awkward on the air. He'll be one and done.
Not a great game but I'll take 9.8 points on a "down day." (.5 PPR) I don't really blame him, I thought he looked pretty good -- Broncos front 7 was just swarming and the Chargers offensive line got worked. No push, no lateral quickness, no holes. They were all over every screen. Not much you...
Starting him. It's either him or Ivory, who despite having a big week last Thursday is going up against the Bills stiff run D.
Plus I have Rivers, so I like the idea of having essentially all of the Chargers production. Hopefully they're playing catchup all game and pad those stats.
Jets are still 7th in rushing yards per game allowed and 6th in rushing yards per attempt allowed. They're not as good as they were last year (or early in the season) but they're still a good run defense.
He's actually been pretty solid on my bench most of the season (Chargers and Broncos games notwithstanding) but last night was the first time I started him. Happy get came through for me. Definitely hard to trust, but I think he's a good bench/depth guy.
